A reader pointed out yesterday in the Comments section of the post on Motor Trends Automotive Photo of the Year contest that Road & Track was also running the exact same contest. Unlike the MT contest, however, which offers a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT as its grand prize, R&T is giving away the nicer Canon EOS 20D. Kind of weird that R&T is offering a better camera from the same company for virtually the same contest. Im assuming, of course, that Canon is providing the cameras to both free of charge. Dont get me wrong, were a big fan of Canon cameras here and a Digital Rebel XT is still a great digital SLR that could easily take photos of high enough quality to appear in both these mags.
